Position Summary:

Rollins College seeks an experienced, collaborative researcher with a deep understanding of data analytics and higher education to support institution wide, data-driven improvement efforts. The Senior Director for Institutional Analytics will report to the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost and will collaborate with the Chief Information Officer, Vice President for Enrollment, Vice President for Advancement, Vice President for Student Affairs, and Vice President for Finance. The Institutional Analytics team includes the Director for Institutional Research and the Assistant Provost for Institutional Effectiveness. This is an opportunity to work with an innovative, collaborative senior leadership team on a college-wide, data-driven improvement agenda. Rollins is engaged in an integrated, multidimensional, evidence-based effort to develop and implement an overall institutional strategy with a special emphasis on advancing student learning and readiness for careers and life that will be supported by the work of the Senior Director for Institutional Analytics.
 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

The abilities to anticipate, frame, and answer data-intensive research questions; translate analyses into clear, actionable guidance; and communicate with a broad range of stakeholders are essential. Strong candidates will have expertise in statistical programming, machine learning, and other quantitative research methodologies, including multivariate analyses. Experience analyzing Federal and other higher education data sets, using predictive analytics to support student success, and applying mixed methods approaches are desirable. Successful candidates will have a Ph.D. in social science, science, computer science, mathematics, or equivalent experience.
