Position Summary:

The Department of Theatre and Dance seeks an adjunct instructor to teach one section of History of Theatre II. We seek an individual who holds either an MFA in theatre or a Ph.D. In Theatre Studies, Theatre History, Performance Studies, Literature, or a related field and who has prior experience teaching theatre history. The course covers the development of theatre in all its facets (dramatic, professional, technical, social, political, theoretical) from the late 18th Century to the present day. The course emphasizes the global nature of theatrical innovation, especially highlighting major contributions by women and minorities. 

The class is on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:00am-12:15pm during the 2018 spring semester.
