Position Summary:

The Department of Political Science at Rollins College invites applications for a one year visiting assistant professor of American politics position, beginning August 2018. We seek a candidate with broad training in American politics and specializations in some combination of political behavior, political communication/information, methodology, and Latino or minority politics. The successful candidate will also have a demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence in a liberal arts institution.

Rollins College, the first institution of higher learning in Florida, is a small liberal arts college in Winter Park, historically emphasizing innovative and quality teaching in a small class setting. We are dedicated to building a culturally diverse and pluralistic faculty committed to teaching and working in a multicultural environment and strongly encourage applications from minorities and women. Ph.D. at time of appointment is preferred, but ABDs will be considered. Our visitor teaching load is four courses a semester, including introduction to American government and a possible general education course for non-majors.
