Position Summary:

The Management & Executive Education Center at the Crummer Graduate School of Business partners with some of the world’s most recognizable corporations to develop more effective leaders. Instructors at the Center include some of Crummer’s most distinguished faculty and world class consultants, who know business and know how to provide corporate leaders with the information and skills they need to succeed.

Principle responsibilities include:

Program Support for Open Enrollment & Custom Programs

  • Takes the lead in scheduling logistics for all programs including classroom, breakout room reservations, catering, and AV needs.
  • Interfaces with program faculty confirming schedule and program dates, materials, etc.
  • Ensures program materials and supplies are ready for each class session.
  • Ensures efficient classroom set-up and breakdown.
  • Supports Assistant Director with the day-of process for faculty and participants.
  • Creates class rosters and certificates of completion.
  • Assists the Associate Director with assessment processes including working with the assessment providers, sending out assessment tools, tracking completed assessments, coding assessments and preparing reports, and scheduling feedback coaches for one-on-one coaching.
  • Compiles program evaluations and distributes to M&EE staff and faculty, as appropriate.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Registration and Records

  • Manages registration databases. Monitors program enrollment. 
  • Sets up Banner codes and all course-related information. Verifies accuracy in Banner and M&EE records.
  • Processes registrations, tuition and fees.
  • Reconciles payments in the E-Commerce system.
  • Tracks program attendance for certificate requirements.
  • Communicates with attendees before and during programs; sends welcome letters, pre-work, stewardship letters, etc.

Office Support

  • Provides telephone coverage for the office, routing calls and assisting callers, as necessary.
  • Manages office mail and email.
  • Purchase office supplies.
  • Performs data entry for research and reporting purposes.

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Four years or more of office experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of business English, spelling and grammar.
  • Knowledge and practice of effective customer service skills.
  • Ability to use tact and good judgment in resolving work problems and dealing with the public.
  • Proficiency with PC and related software.
  • Knowledge and practice of organizational and time management skills.
  • Analytical ability.

Work Environment:

  • Office environment
  • Work on computer most of the time
  • Flexible hours for early mornings and evenings

The position is scheduled to work 20 hours per week (less than 1,000 hours per year). Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm plus additional hours outside set schedule as needed.

The hourly rate is $15.00.
