Position Summary:

The Department of Political Science at Rollins College invites applications for a two-year Visiting Assistant Professor position, beginning August 2022. We seek a scholar who will contribute to and complement the department’s course offerings in comparative politics and international relations. The successful candidate will also have a demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence in a liberal arts institution. The successful candidate will teach a regular load of four courses per semester, including one course yearly for our general education program. Ph.D. at time of appointment is preferred, but ABDs will be considered.

Minimum Qualifications and Education: 

  • Ph.D. (or ABD) in Political Science with specializations in comparative politics and international relations.
  • Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence in a liberal arts institution and a commitment to undergraduate education.
  • Shows potential to effectively educate and mentor a diverse student population.
