Job
Summary:

The Program Manager position supports both the Center for Advanced Entrepreneurship (CFAE) and social entrepreneurship programming including The Global Links Initiative and Rally: The Social Enterprise Accelerator. The Program Manager will report to the Assistant Director of CFAE and assist in managing all aspects of associated initiatives including content, communications, partnerships, and impact. This position's primary responsibilities include programmatic planning, budgeting, tracking impact, and guiding creation of promotional materials.

Essential Job Functions:

  • CFAE
    • Assist with budgeting, planning, and grant management.
    • Assist with room reservations for CFAE CEO Nexus, ATHENA Powerlink, Entrepreneurs Alliance of Orlando, CEO (student organization) venVelo II, CFAE Advisory Board, and others as needed
    • Communicate with partners
    • Ensure schedules, materials and supplies are obtained and reproduced for meetings
    • Coordinate event planning including interfacing with Rollins Event Services and other departments to secure room reservations, catering, A/V needs, etc.
  •  TGLI
    • Learn and understand roles of partners involved in the planning and execution of TGLI (e.g., The Goings Foundation, U.S. Department of State, various offices in Rollins)
    • Coordinate all professional communications with TGLI partners in the U.S. and other target countries
    • Prepare for and lead regular meetings with the Faculty Director of TGLI and Graduate Assistant(s) as well as other meetings as required, sometimes representing Rollins and TGLI to other agencies
    • Act as cultural ambassador for TGLI at Rollins and in the community at large
    • Construct and circulate quarterly and annual reports documenting impact of all TGLI activities
    • Develop budget for TGLI accounts in Rollins’ system and lead in management of all bookkeeping for expenses related to program activities
    • Facilitate relationship with Rollins Institutional Advancement and Grants offices to assist Faculty Director in pursuing outreach and financial support prospects
Minimum Qualifications
& Education:
  • Experience in program management, with the ability to manage the entire project lifecycle and adjust approaches.
  • Demonstrated initiative, innovation, and problem-solving skills with ability to thrive in unfamiliar and flexible work environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in team settings while balancing multiple projects and leading efforts to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to establish partnerships and manage relationships among a variety of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Zoom, and Canvas.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, leadership and organizational skills, facilitation and public-speaking skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Easily adaptable to new environments with a desire to learn and grow through own initiative and exposure to new opportunities.
  • Familiarity working with budget information for planning and tracking purposes.
  • Familiarity managing social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Familiarity and/or interest in learning about and training on social entrepreneurship concepts.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license, or the ability to obtain a Florida driver's license within 30 days of accepting the job, and acceptable MVR are required.

Preferred
Qualifications:

  • Experience working in cross-cultural environments and international team settings.
  • Curiosity towards other cultures and a passion for social change, women’s entrepreneurship and empowerment.
  • Familiarity with the Rollins, Crummer, and The Global Links Initiative structure and overall culture.
  • Familiarity or work experience in emerging economies or non-western countries and previous program management experience.

Work Environment:

  • Campus-based, front-facing customer service position, working in an office environment.
  • Regular use of a computer and databases.
  • Travel and participate in various work-related events (local, domestic, and international).
  • Flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, may be required on an “as needed” basis.
  • Ability to lift to 20lbs.
