Job
Summary:

In partnership with the creative and editorial teams, the Graphic designer/Assistant Director of Creative Services will develop effective, on-brand design concepts, layouts, and graphics to support the strategic goals of Rollins’ Office of Marketing, including print, digital, product, and environmental designs. This person plays a key role in maintaining the Rollins brand in the marketplace, implementing and adhering to brand guidelines and standards while meeting ongoing deadlines, maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring industry-leading quality.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualizes and executes effective visual designs in alignment with goals and objectives.
  • Serves as designer, layout artist, and production coordinator on a variety of marketing projects, from concept to completion.
  • Partners with leadership to ensure all creative assets meet requirements/objectives and are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Serves as support on creative direction for photo shoots and accompanying logistics.
  • Helps ensure brand consistency across communication channels.
  • Participates in brainstorming sessions and subsequent planning meetings.
  • Implements feedback and revisions effectively and accurately.
  • Collaborates with leadership to bring visions to life through creative design solutions.

*We are hiring for only one of these roles (Graphic Designer or Assistant Director of Creative Services) and the title/pay will be dependent on qualifications/experience.*

Minimum Qualifications
& Education:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited university in graphic design, art, or related field
  • 3-5 years of professional design experience

Preferred 
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in graphic design, art, or related field
  • 3-5 years of professional design experience at a creative or marketing agency
  • Solid understanding of marketing, web design, and brand development
  • Working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3

Knowledge, Skills &
Abilities:

  • Demonstrable publication design experience with a strong portfolio of relevant work
  • Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong eye for visual composition and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of photography and photo editing
  • Organized self-starter with effective project-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines while juggling multiple priorities
  • Ability to develop relationships with multiple campus partners and stakeholders

Work Environment:

 

  • Orlando campus-based position, in an office/field environment, with the ability to flex and work from home.
  • Work requires visual strain and the use of a computer.
