The Rollins College Office of Residential Life and Explorations is recruiting graduate-level candidates seeking work experience in the areas of First-Year Experience and Orientation for the 2018-2019 academic year (start date: July 2018). We will begin our initial interview stages in January 2018.

Our Explorations Graduate Assistants will be able to develop in several areas including: leadership development, marketing, budgeting, mentoring, and office administration.

Our Explorations Graduate Assistant positions are designed for students enrolled in student affairs, higher education, counseling, or related graduate programs. Priority will be given to those students enrolled in the M.A. Educational Leadership program at the University of Central Florida; however, we will also consider all other graduate programs in our hiring. Working at Rollins College will allow graduate students to sample other functional areas including Career Services, Student Involvement and Leadership, Fraternity and Sorority Life, Judicial Affairs, Community Engagement, Personal Counseling, Health Services, and Multicultural Affairs.


  • Paid at a bi-weekly rate of $12.50/hr. over the academic year
  • Free campus staff parking privileges
