This notice is being provided as a result of the filing of an Application for Permanent Employment Certification (ETA Form 9089). The employer intends to permanently employ a foreign national in the job opportunity described below.

Assistant Professor, Communication

POSITION DUTIES:           

Teach core courses in communication studies (e.g., Introduction to Communication and Research
Methods), as well as advanced courses in area of interest. Participate in community engagement, social innovation, justice and equity, and environmental sustainability initiatives at the College.
Requires: Masters in Communication. ABD (Completion of All But Dissertation for Ph.D. degree)
with expected completion by start date. Record of outstanding teaching and commitment to undergraduate education. Use innovative approaches to teaching and emphasize access and diversity in the classroom. Demonstrate an active research agenda aligned with communication and social science.
