Job Summary:
|
Primary responsibilities include:
- Receive, inspect, scan, and reconcile incoming packages using the WTS Package System
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to campus departments, including off-campus locations
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments (FedEx, UPS), including documentation and budget tracking
- Assist Post Office Supervisor with campus mail delivery, student packages and Campus Post Office operations as needed
- Maintain and update surplus property inventory and coordinate disposal via PublicSurplus.com or local charities
- Oversee Business Services vehicles and golf carts, ensuring maintenance and compliance with safety policies
- Maintain warehouse organization and safety standards, including hazardous materials handling
- Train and supervise Work-Study student staff
- Provide excellent customer service to departments and vendors

Minimum Qualifications & Education:
|
- High school education is required
- Minimum three years of job-related experience required
- Basic knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control required
- Strong record-keeping and computer skills (Windows environment and business applications)
- Possess a valid driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR)
- Forklift experience desired

- Ability to maintain a professional, customer service-oriented demeanor
- Knowledge of basic computer skills in a Windows environment
- Skilled in effective communication and team collaboration
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Familiarity with hazardous materials handling and safety protocols
- Proficiency with handheld tracking devices and multifunction equipment
- Ability to be flexible and work efficiently under pressure
- Capable of operating pallet jacks, dollies, and hand trucks

Work Schedule:
|
- This position is a full-time, 12-month appointment, scheduled to work 37.5 hours per week, for a total of 1,950 hours annually
- Work hours are typically Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
- Occasional overtime required
|
Work Environment:
|
- Warehouse, outside, inside, and office settings
- Physical activity including lifting, bending, stretching, stairs, standing, walking, and carrying heavy items
- Safety equipment provided includes gloves and back belts
|
