Position Summary:

The Department of Economics at Rollins College welcomes applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in applied economics, beginning in August 2026, with a particular interest in candidates specializing in Environmental Economics, Public Economics/Public Finance, and New Institutional Economics, but applied finance candidates are also welcome to apply. Candidates will be expected to conduct electives on applied economics and in their other fields of interest, to contribute to teaching our core economics courses, and to offer courses in the college’s general educational program.

The department expects the ideal candidate to also be attracted to exploring alternative conceptual and ideological perspectives and to contribute to a pluralist economics department and evolving curriculum. Candidates must have a PhD in Economics in hand or firmly expected by September 2026 and ideal candidates will possess excellence in teaching at the instructor level or above and a record of scholarship.
