Job Summary:

  • Deliver customized solutions through use of Rollins platforms to improve efficiency of business workflows
  • Develop and maintain systems integrations including applications, services, APIs, file transfers and queries
  • Develop and implement automated solutions for software and database processes
  • Participate as technical expert in design, development, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation of systems across the enterprise applications ecosystem
  • Develop and implements procedures for data security, management, and compliance
  • Implement new functionality and new system capabilities including data integrations with third-party systems
  • Produce and present problem-solving rationale in collaboration with key stakeholders, working to develop an understanding of technical specifications and deliver features and services based on business requirements
  • Engage in the complete life cycle of information systems, from requirements and analysis to design and development of complex integrations
  • Collaborate with other campus departments and vendors to understand business workflows

Minimum 
Qualifications and Education:

 

  • Experience with Oracle database and HTML programming
  • Experience with software problem solving
  • Experience with API’s
  • The following programming languages are required Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, Unix Shell, and ASP
  • Working knowledge of relational databases like Oracle, MySQL and Access
  • Good verbal and written communication skills desired
  • Ability to work well with users and other programmers in the design and development of new web applications and workflows
  • Ability to prioritize projects
Preferred 
Qualifications:
  • Four-year degree required, Computer Science or similar
  • Computer Programming certifications
  • Familiarity with JSON or jQuery, Oracle development tools like SQL Developer or SQL Navigator
Work Environment:
  • Campus-based position, working in an indoor office environment and outdoor working environment.
  • Work requires visual strain, as well as occasional strenuous activity involving moderate lifting, bending, stooping, stretching, standing and walking.
  • Typical work hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, but this role requires flexibility, including some evening/weekend/holiday hours and regular and emergency call-out as needed.
