In partnership with the Senior Director of Content and Creative Services, the Associate Director of Creative Services helps lead the development of effective, on-brand design concepts, layouts, and graphics to support the strategic goals of Rollins’ Office of Marketing, including print, digital, product, and environmental designs. This person plays a key role in maintaining the Rollins brand in the marketplace, acting as the creative point person on a range of marketing projects while meeting ongoing deadlines, maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring industry-leading quality.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serves as creative design lead on all marketing projects, overseeing all creative elements in collaboration with senior director
  • Conceptualizes and executes effective visual designs in alignment with goals and objectives
  • Helps manage production cycle, tracking projects from idea through completion 
  • Partners closely with editorial team to ensure all creative assets meet requirements/objectives and are delivered on time and on budget
  • Ensures brand consistency and visual identity across communication channels
  • Helps provide creative direction and logistical support for photo shoots and partners with photographer(s) in the field to ensure resulting photos align with creative vision
  • Manages relationships with printers and other external vendors, including negotiating quotes,  overseeing production schedules, and attending press checks and other site visits as required
  • Consults on brand-level marketing materials to ensure compliance with brand standards
  • Oversees licensing requests and works with external vendors to maintain brand integrity 


Minimum Qualifications & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in graphic design, art, or related field
  • 5-7 years of professional print design experience
  • Demonstrable print publication design experience with a strong portfolio of relevant work
  • Technical mastery of required desktop publishing tools, including Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong eye for visual composition and attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of marketing and brand development
  • Advanced knowledge of photography and photo editing
  • Organized self-starter with effective project-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines while juggling multiple priorities
  • Ability to develop relationships with multiple campus partners and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of best practices in front-end web design
  • Working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3

Work Environment:


  • Orlando campus-based position, in an office/field environment, with the ability to flex and work from home.
  • Work requires visual strain and the use of a computer.
